Andrew Liddle is a political advisor and journalist.
His critically-acclaimed book Churchill: The Scottish Years has been described as "well-written, well-researched and genuinely groundbreaking" by the historian Andrew Roberts, and as "a triumph" by Brian Taylor of The Herald. His biography of former Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson was published by Biteback in 2018.
He has served as Political Correspondent for The Press and Journal, Scotland’s best-selling quality daily newspaper, and Chief Reporter for The Courier.
As well as non-fiction, he also writes fiction and was long listed for 2022 Mogford Prize.
He currently works as a Senior Advisor at the political consultancy, True North, and lives in London.
