When asked what inspires her ideas in her works she replies, "Everyday life inspires me. People, places, things and ordinary events can all become something terrifying if you ask the question 'what if?' Then imagine the worst possible scenario and expand on that." Imber enjoys traveling, reading, and watching horror movies. She has four children and loves spending any free time with them.
