Geoffrey Wilhite

My name is Geoffrey Wilhite, also known as Geoff.

I am a retired biology teacher from Colorado. Moved to Florida six years ago. I have been working in water color for years and felt comfortable to use the art with children science book. The books I write are designed to help all students an easier way to understand the biological processes and use characters who tell the stories for me. The main character is a Green Pig. Chlory the Green pig, who is actually Chlorophyll the green pigment in plants the bio relationships with mitochondria, the powerhouse of the cell. I also do painting and photography.

I believe young people need a way to learn the difficult subject of biology in a way that is fun and easy using the knowledge they already and build on it. We can show all learners that science can be fun and can lead to a future in science!
