Luke Ridenhour

U.S. Naval Academy graduate; Naval Aviator; Naval Flight Officer; Naval Parachutist; U.S. Army Parachutist. Logged over 6,000 accident-free flight hours in Navy aircraft; the majority in the A-6 Intruder and A-4 Skyhawk. Logged arrested landings on nine different aircraft carriers, including over 200 on USS Midway and over 100 on USS Forrestal. Initial carrier quals were on USS Lexington, the Navy's last wooden deck carrier. Awarded Approach Magazine Bravo Zulu for safely flying a T-2 Buckeye jet with frozen fore-aft stick movement over 120 miles to a safe landing.

Selected to conduct and author three Navy JAG investigations; two of the three conclusions were selected over conclusions reached by military and civilian lawyers. The third agreed with conclusions reached by all other investigators.
