Sandy Kell

Sandy Kell began writing several years ago, first joining a local creative writing class then later becoming a member of The Next Chapter writing group. Her first novel, ‘3 Boats and a Man’ was published in 2018; she’s continued the saga with ‘3 Boats and a Plan’. Watch out for the third book in the trilogy! She's gained experience sailing on the canals in a narrowboat which she's found invaluable. It's given her lots of inspiration for her stories. Her household has always been full of people – for many years she hosted students of all ages from around the world – and now, when she’s not out dancing or travelling, she enjoys sharing her home with her new ‘friends’ at the marina. She lives with her husband in North Yorkshire. They have four amazing children, a super selection of daughters-in-law, a fantastic son-in-law as well as lots of entertaining grandchildren.
