Josh Shelton

Josh lives in the scenic town of Chico in Northern California with his children, Ashley and Caden. A skilled contractor by trade, Josh has spent much of his life building custom homes. Yet, his true passions have always leaned toward the arts—poetry, drawing, and music have long been part of his creative expression.

While raising his children, Josh became deeply attuned to the many challenges facing today’s youth. This awareness sparked the inspiration behind I Am Adventure Books—a conscious children’s book series designed to empower young minds. The four-book collection blends imagination with wisdom, encouraging exploration of life’s big questions through fun, adventurous storytelling.

Transcending boundaries and uniting all walks of life, I Am Adventure Books aims to expand awareness, nurture curiosity, and inspire positive change. Josh believes the children of the world are among our greatest teachers. His heartfelt offering is for children of all ages—with the hope that it supports a brighter, more compassionate future for our planet and everyone who calls it home.
