Dell Belew PhD

Dell Belew (1947- ) grew up in Savannah, GA the oldest of five children. Life's ups and downs in a large family became the inspiration for her books. Her interests include religion, writing (fiction and nonfiction; poetry; and aesthetics), art, photography, and teaching. Dell completed her PhD with the intention of teaching English in a Christian university, which she did for many years before retiring to engage in her visual art, art teaching, and writing. Her "voice" in writing ranges from the more serious, stoic to the comical and, according to her, even the silly on occasion!
