Greg Breza

Greg Breza was born and raised in Winona, Mn. After he graduated from high school in 1968 he headed west to Oregon. He got the itch to move to Alaska in 1980. He and 2 of his friends decided to move to Alaska and start a construction company in 1982. After 6 months his 2 friends couldn't handle Alaska anymore and headed back to Oregon. Greg stayed in Alaska for another 15 years. He held odd jobs to get himself through the Alaskan winters. He built a cabin on the banks of the Little Su river outside of Houston, Alaska where he spent 2 years. He then spent several years guiding for moose and bear out of the Gracious House Lodge on the Big Su river. He met his future wife in Sitka where he worked at Islands Community College as the maintenance supervisor. His son was the inspiration to write "Unexpected Rendezvous" after a trip to Mexico in 1992. He wrote the manuscript in 3 months and attempted to get it published for 16 years before he finally chose a self publishing company, Xlibris, in 2009.
