Mackenzie Kristjon is a songwriter that performs under the rock and roll brand This Mad Desire (www.thismaddesire.net). He has performed in Canada, the USA, and various European countries. His videos for Operators Are Standing By, Paris of Love, and Paris Amoureux have been viewed over two hundred thousand times on youtube.

He has published The Culinary Saga of New Iceland: Recipes from the Shores of Lake Winnipeg by Kristin Olafson-Jenkyns and Falcons Gold: Canada’s First Olympic Hockey Heroes by Kathleen Arnason. He also put together The Ultimate Icelandic-North American Directory.
