Joshua Staton

Author and teacher Joshua Staton is best known for the #1 new release addiction recovery book titled "Overcome" and "The Resistance," an applicable study on becoming a servant leader. Regarded and referred to as a “strange mix of A.W. Tozer and Robert Greene,” readers have embraced his unique and thought-provoking perspectives, allegorical observations, insightful inspiration, and an awkward touch of insanity. As one reader remarked, “Who else do you know that can break down the complexities of the spiritual heart using a TV remote?”

In late 2012, God found Joshua - sitting at a kitchen table in an empty house - considering suicide. Years of drinking and substance abuse had finally severed the last remaining thread. In many aspects, this moment signaled the end of one story but the beginning of another.

His latest book, "Align - A Modern Dissection of the Human Heart," explores the tendency of the heart to drift from the faith during hard times, as well as its tendency to return to past habits. He is currently in the design phase for the final chapter of his Strategic Discipleship Series—which will be a two-book conclusion titled "The Builders." Book one will be subtitled "Blueprint," and book two is a yearly devotional titled "Legacy." Expect to see them released in early 2024.
