Cameron Williams

Cameron Williams was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and spent his early years in the Midwest. At 18 Cameron joined the US Air Force and spent the next four years in Europe. After leaving the Air Force, Cameron moved to South Carolina where he met his wife Jo, and her two boys Jeremiah and Dustin. After a few years, Cameron, Jo and the boys moved to Wisconsin where Cameron began his engineering career. Over that career, Cam designed industrial riding lawn mowers, front end loaders, back hoes, small horse power engines, booms and scissor-lifts. Besides being an engineer, Cam was also a member of the Air National Guard, joining in 1993. In 2003, Cam and Jo moved to California (the boys moved out years before, Jeremiah joining the Air National Guard and Dustin joined the Marines) where Cam started his own manufacturing business and later purchased a powder coating company. Later Jeremiah moved to California where he became Cam's business partner. In California, Cam met James Johnson, a fellow Guardsman and co-author of The Road to Whitney. Cameron has spent 25+ years in the military, 10+ years has a business owner and 6+ years hiking the National Parks of California.
