KARLA BAUER is an award-winning singer and songwriter from Kansas City. The music she writes is an expression of poetry, passion, and faith. As an independent music artist and founder of the SHINE On Music program, Karla has combined her two loves: creating and performing her original hoped-induced music and giving access to high-quality art programs to youth in underserved and rural communities.

Her mission is to educate, encourage, and empower children on how to successfully get their art out into the industry but more importantly how to promote themselves safely in a digital world. She has educated hundreds of children and has centered her life around inspiring them to have the courage to follow their dreams and to keep shining.
