George Parker is an internationally successful corporate speaker/illusionist/mentalist, author as well as Creative Producer of Change & Innovation. He's been obsessed with with the idea that our perspective and focus creates our reality since he was five and committed to experiment with it and discover how it works since he was fifteen.
OBSESSION WITH THE CREATIVE PROCESS
The idea is simple, but the execution is not always easy. While reinventing himself in many wildly different careers (health care, programming, sales, management training, consultancy, (project)management, illusionist/mentalist, theatermaker, illustrator/animator, speaker/author) and constantly transforming his relationships with friends and most and for all his life partner and children, he slowly revealed how the creative process works.
Spoiler alert: there is no fixed formula. In hindsight: duhhh, it's a creative process! But he wasn't that smart at the start because he furiously hoped for an easy way that would work for everyone, always and everywhere. But no, the idea that perspective and focus create reality is indeed simple. But changing our perspective and focus can be really hard and will require different approaches every time.
He did however discover powerful principles behind how we create reality. As well as a universal meta-instrument to apply them.
POWERFUL PRINCIPLES AND A UNIVERSAL TOOL
He articulated the principles as his Three Laws of Perception: 1. Focus creates your reality. 2. Perspective creates your focus. 3. You will and you can change your perspective.
The IDEAL Cycle© applies these principles in an organic way. It's rooted in the fact that everything that exists today and didn't exist before is the result of a creative process: objects, ideas, behavior, events, etc. There are always the five key elements present in these creative processes: Intentions (and realized intentions; Effects), Design, Essence, Action, Learn.
If something doesn't work out there's something wrong with one or more of them. And you can fix that in order to produce the reality you want.
