Jonathan Vasilyev

I am a 12-year-old kid who was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and now lives in St. Catharines, Ontario and absolutely loves to write and draw. So, I thought why not combine those things together and start making picture books, which is what I did. I love using my picture books to teach children important life lessons and morals. It was very hard at first but as I finished my first picture book :) I realized that writing is fun. I love being able to know that I have a book that other people can buy and read!!! I chose to make picture books because when I was little I loved when my mom read picture books to me and then showed me the pictures. I even tried copying the pictures from my favorite books a few times. I really liked making my first book, it was so fun!!! I liked that I did the illustrations and wrote the book.!
