L. G. Dickson

Published my first novel The Confirmation in 2017 with Matador Publishing and my second, A Quiet Wife, in early 2020. I base all my writing in Edinburgh, my home city. It provides a wonderful backdrop to my story telling. My genre is women’s literary fiction and I enjoy tackling themes that reflect the many challenges women face. Hopefully I’m not too earnest in my writing. I like to inject humour and warmth and to ultimately tell an uplifting story.

I enjoy reading ( Persephone Books are a favourite ),walking around Edinburgh, eating out with friends and family and trailing around Scotland to hear favourite authors at Book Festivals. I am currently working on my third novel.
