Barbara Hetzer

Barbara Hetzer is a born and bred resident of Chicago, Illinois, but now divides her time between Santa Barbara and La Quinta, California as well as Chicago. She was the first of any member of her family to attend and graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from De Paul University. She worked for many years at ABC Television and subsequently at her husband’s lumber company. Her travels have been extensive. She has been writing, not as a vocation but as a passion, since childhood. Chicago Girl in Tanzania is her first published book.
