From a starving college student who “lifted” food from her college campus cafeteria to have meals for the weekend, to an empty-nesting mom who figured out how to get colleges to beg her kids to attend their school, Denise Thomas has seen both famine and fortune.

Having homeschooled her two children from kindergarten through high school, Denise wasn’t sure if colleges would have confidence in her ‘mommy transcript’ nor how her teens would pay for college. It was, for this reason, she created a high school to college strategy resulting in an application package that not only impressed admissions officers but had them begging for her teens to go to their school. Both attended 4-year universities on more than $199,000 in scholarships and came out with cash in hand. They got paid to go to college.

Denise has coached parents of other college-bound teens for more than 15 years, helping them help their children get paid to go to college. She is passionate about her work, which she conducts from Florida with her husband.

Denise is the founder of Cracking the Code to Free College for families with middle school and high school age kids, and the College Edition for college students to add additional free cash to that college kitty along with college internships and post graduate employment.
