Sandy Kegel is a mother of five children, loves to write and create art and enjoys the outdoors. Among her other passions are reading, hiking, kayaking, gardening, and traveling. Now that her kids are grown she gets to spend more time writing—a passion waylaid during the busy parenting years.
She has climbed several Fourteeners (Mountains in the 14,000 foot range), traveled down the Mississippi River for 6 months in a hand-built sailboat, endured hurricane gale-force winds on the North Sea, and lived through various personal journeys.
Sandy’s book, “Sammy and Goliath,” is a story about bullying (with a happy ending for both the bully and the bullied.)
