H A Billinghurst

Holly Billinghurst (1980-) was born in Worthing, West Sussex and grew up between the sea & the countryside surrounded by books. After taking on a Computer Science degree with a toddler & a baby because she was "bored", she worked as a software developer before accidentally falling into teaching because of a chance offer to cover a Computer Science A Level class. Never one to back down from a challenge, after a decade in teaching, she founded TeachAllAboutIT where she tutors, writes, and supports teachers- with a determination to inspire others to love teaching as much as her, she began to write Teach All About It as an extended blog project until she was convinced to publish it as a book in 2018. In 2019, she released her visual revision guides for GCSE Computer Science combining her enthusiasm for active learning and organisation!

She now lives on the South Coast of England with her husband, Tom and their two children and spends her days supporting students one-to-one, writing, developing courses, and supporting schools.

Her book series Alex & Jordan released in 2024 is being developed into a series of accessible books for KS3 & GCSE Computer Science learners.
