Hi, Mark here

As a child, I loved watching my great grandma teaching my mom many of her “secret” recipes.

That, along with my fascination with different cultures and their cuisines, grew my culinary skills and repertoire exponentially. A neighbor commented “All your food is great; many dishes are from places I’ve never heard of!”

For a number of years, my restaurant was #1 rated specializing in Dim Sum, so authentic it brought more than one Chinese guest to tears. Just before COVID, I downsized to popups.

I wrote and continue to write a number of well received cookbooks.When asked “What dish or cuisine are you best known for?” my response is “Coming up with something new all the time!”So,there are more cookbooks to come.

Also, storytelling runs in my family. Carrying on the tradition, I’ve written several children’s books.
