LORENA TERANDO is an Associate Professor of Translation and Interpreting Studies, and Chair of the Translation and Interpreting Studies Department at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She is a critical translation scholar focusing on witnessing in translation, trauma studies, translation and conflict, and women in translation. She has translated the work of Elvira Sánchez Blake, Consuelo Avila, Olga Behar, Belén Boville Luca de Tena, María Eugenia Vásquez Perdomo, and Carmen Cecilia Suárez.
