Mike McDaniel

Mike McDaniel is a former police officer who served as a patrolman, crime scene photographer, detective, shift supervisor, division commander, SWAT officer, field training officer and firearm instructor. He is an Air Force veteran, having helped fight the Cold War, and a European and Japanese fencer. A former marathoner, these days his knees feel better riding a recumbent. Mike is currently a high school English teacher and professional singer, composer, arranger, guitarist, bassist and director. He writes the popular Stately McDaniel Manor blog, has written for PJ Media, The Truth About Guns, Bearing Arms, and other blogs. He has written several plays that have actually been produced, and is working on several books.
