Max Reams

Max W. Reams was born in Virgil, KS. He grew up in Topeka, KS, but spent childhood summers on his grandparents farm where he learned to love rocks and fossils. This led to degrees in Zoology (B.A.) and Geology (B.S., M.S., Ph.D.); later he earned a M.P.C.(Master of Pastoral Counseling). Marrying Carol was the best decision he made, aside from becoming a believer in Jesus. He taught Geology at Olivet Nazarene University for five decades. He is a trainer for Life Innovations, Inc., working with hundreds of counselors and pastors so they can administer Prepare-Enrich for use in premarital and marital counseling. He is a Certified Life Coach. His current writing passions are divided between geology books for the general public, novels based on a fictional detective-geologist who solves crimes through a knowledge of geology, and devotional works.
