Bob Peters

I am a teacher. For seven years I taught children in three weekly Bible clubs. I have taught young people in youth groups, Sunday schools and campers at Bible camps. I spent about half my adult life as a teaching pastor in evangelical churches and the other half teaching at Millar College of the Bible in Saskatchewan. I enjoyed the children, campers, college students and congregations, and they enjoyed me.

Now I am retired, and leading adult Bible studies has been one of the joys of my life. Some of my students and my pastor encouraged me to publish the Bible study material I was writing. That resulted in two books. Because the Bible has many good valuable stories I wrote a third book of 21 Bible stories. I think it is very valuable because it is based on Scriptures and contains a lot of background information and cross references which make the stories more interesting.

My education includes a master's degree, but I have found that experience, reputation and memorized Scriptures to be more valuable.

I grew up in a large Mennonite family on a grain farm, and I was saved at age 12. My wife Deanna and I live in Calgary, and have three married children and seven grandchildren. Recently we celebrated 50 years of marriage.
