Mrs. L.

Mrs. L started her teaching career in high school before moving into elementary school. There she discovered that teaching younger students was, and still is, more rewarding for her. There is something very special about seeing the proverbial lightbulb go on when a child 'gets' a concept.

She loved her time teaching both Grade 2 and Grade 4, before deciding to turn her focus to working with students who needed a bit of extra support in mastering the basic skills. That led to her taking more courses to become qualified as a learning support teacher and a specialist in reading and special education.

Over the years, in working individually or with small groups of primary students, she created many materials to help these children. Recently, Mrs. L began to compile these materials into the workbooks you see here on her author's page. She hopes you will find these workbooks helpful in working with your children at home.
