Toby Lewis

Toby Lewis, born and raised in a small Texas town during the latter years of what were best known in the deep south as the Jim Crow era. Survived integration and became a decent student excelling in athletics and journalism in high school. I was fortunate enough to win some UIL writing competitions and honorably admitted to the prestigious `Quill & Scroll Society` my senior year.

My first work as a writer was for the hometown newspaper while still in high school, even then I knew I wanted to be a novelist.

Fizzled out as a college football player, dropped out of school and spent a few years following the Grateful Dead around the country on a motorcycle. Supporting myself as a bartender and bouncer before marrying and settling in as a night club manager.

My other books basically depict the life adventures I lived for thirty plus years as a bodybuilder and club worker.
