Leisa Rich

Leisa Rich is a professional visual artist who creates tactile, interactive art works and installations using experimental methods and materials. She is often inspired by nature and creates environments that transport us all into a Utopian world of wonder in which to escape the frenetic life led today.

Rich holds MFA & BFA degrees in Fiber Art and a BEd in Art, exhibits internationally, and has work in private and public collections including Delta Airlines Inc., Emory Healthcare, Dallas Museum of Art, and the Kamm Foundation. Her work is regularly featured in books, magazines, blogs, and on PBS, and she has also written for many publications. Animal Alphabet Traveling Twisters, her first children’s book, was published in 2015. Rich has 44 years' experience teaching art. She has a studio at the Goat Farm in Atlanta.
