Andrew Howell

Andrew was born in the mountains of Colorado, where much of his family still lives. While spending his early years traveling the globe as a Navy brat, he eventually returned to the Western United States and began a career in oil field construction, where he has spent over thirty years experience as a health, safety, security manager. This life experience eventually once again took him around the world to exotic work locations like Colombia, Chile, Peru, Turkmenistan, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, UAE,and Egypt.

He had a background rooted firmly in the gun-smoke-and-roughneck-style oil culture of the mid-1980s, which he was able to shape into a well-written fictional tale of the wild life in the oil field towns, Thus the DUSTER came to fruition. He is a prolific writer who has been spinning tales for more than 30 years. He has dozens of short stories and three previous Books to his credit which include:
