Biography
Sandra Roberts Still's diagnosis, treatment and survival of cancer radically changed her walk with Christ. From knowing about Jesus, she began to know Him in a dynamic relationship. Retired from thirty plus years of teaching high school English, she currently serves as a commissioned Stephen Minister, hospice home volunteer, and therapy dog handler visiting people in need of a comforting presence.
Faced with difficult challenges in her life and the lives of others, one constant kept emerging - the awareness that people can't fix it, but God can. Hope, peace, joy and anticipation of eternity with the Lord consistently radiated through the most hopeless situations. In her book of meditations and reflections, Ms. Still shares some of her experiences in the hope that others may get a glimpse of God's glory.
A National Board certified teacher, Sandra also holds a M. Ed. degree in counseling and guidance. She lives with her two Dandie Dinmont Terrier therapy dogs and husband Ronald in Garner, N.C.
