My name is Alexandra Walsh and I am the bestselling author of historical mystery and dual-timeline fiction inspired by the hidden voices of women in history.

My new novel, The Boleyn Curse, will be available from 15 March 2026, published by Boldwood Books.

It tells the story of Elizabeth Boleyn, mother of Anne, Mary and George, and a legacy of fear she passed to her children. In the present day, Tabitha Mundy uncovers a trail of clues leading to a shocking historical secret.

All my novels weave together past and present to uncover lost histories, forgotten women and the secrets buried beneath the official record.

Before becoming a novelist, I worked as a journalist for more than twenty-five years, writing for national newspapers and magazines and working in television as a producer and director. I now present The Alexandra Walsh Arts Show on Pure West Radio.

My work combines meticulous historical research with emotionally driven storytelling to explore the question at the heart of all my books: what happens when the past refuses to stay buried?
