Morton Benning is an author and illustrator who lives in the southern suburbs of Adelaide South Australia with his wife and three daughters. He primarily writes speculative fiction and has published a speculative fiction novel entitled "Playing God", a fantasy anthology of poetry and short stories entitled "The Tale of Alathimble Spaide and Other Such Nonsense," both with Stone Table Books, and is responsible for Morton's Anglish Fictionary, a catalogue of made up words with definitions. He has also been a long time contributor and editor for the Tales from the Upper Room's largely annual anthologies.
