J. Michael Roddy

A member of the Entertainment industry for more than 25 years, J. Michael Roddy has contributed to some of the most successful entertainment experiences that have become unforgettable memories for millions around the world.

His passion for the film and entertainment industry grew into an illustrious career as Roddy began writing and producing world-class, award-winning entertainment for Walt Disney Entertainment, Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Orlando Resort, and Anheuser-Busch Entertainment to name a few. A few of his most notable projects for these entertainment leaders include Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live, The Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, Disney Movie Magic, Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream and Halloween Horror Nights, respectively. A “Super Fan” of film and pop culture, Roddy is also a documentary filmmaker. He produced MonsterKids which was cited as the documentary of the year by the Rondo Hattan Awards. He also produced the award-winning documentary “The Shark is Still Working: The Impact and Legacy of JAWS which is available on the Universal Home Video release of JAWS. His first book “J. Michael Roddy’s Haunter’s Tales” was released in January of 2019.

With so much passion for the entertainment industry coupled with the development of numerous award-winning entertainment experiences, it’s no surprise Roddy lives by the motto: “The more you do…the more you get to do!”
