Michael Albu

Michael Albu is a chemist, microbiologist, and formulator who has worked in the laboratory industry for over 40 years. He received his BS in Microbiology from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and his MS in Macromolecular Chemistry from the University of Detroit-Mercy. Michael currently works as a Laboratory Director in the Novi, MI area. He holds four patents and has been published in various technical magazines.

He volunteers with the Environmental Management Association to mentor Detroit high school students in preparing for the Detroit Science and Engineering Fair held each March. Michael also serves as a judge at the event and helps decide which students will receive scholarships based on their projects.

Michael is the co-author of My First Science Book of Colors, published by Albu Enterprises.

Michael is married to his wife, Alice, and has three daughters and twelve grandchildren. He enjoys golf, travel, reading, hanging out with the grandchildren, volunteering, and studying mathematics.
