Dr. Xiaoyan Liang

Dr. Xiaoyan Liang was born in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China. She spent the first 27 years there, you know the drill, primary school, high school, life-determining national college entrance examination, then Bachelor’s (in English language and literature) degree at Central South University, Master’s (in Intercultural Business Communication) degree at Shanghai International Studies University. Upon graduation, she worked in several organisations in Shanghai, and realised (1) people in organisations warrant better understanding; (2) ideas are more fascinating to work with. In 2014-2017, she got her PhD in Management at Monash University in Australia.

Dr. Xiaoyan Liang works happily as a university lecturer and management scholar in Melbourne now, outside her profession, she is a devotee of languages (Chinese, English, French and Spanish) and passionate life philosophiser.
