I grew up on the eastside of downtown Houston, known as Magnolia, 2nd Ward. Near the docks of the Port of Houston. On Canal St. a rough neighborhood, filled with dive bars, and gangs. Our father moved us to a much improved upscale community in Garden Oaks, Oak Forest area. Waltrip

High School grad of '70.

In my youth, I loved to run and participated in the school Cross Country team, which took me to Sam Houston State University. I'm a resourceful man of many skills and talents and a retired Chef. I was tagged with the nick name of "Sal."

Writing "Saviors of Italia" began as a dream. Later, I discovered that I was a Lucid dreamer, of which I could create and control my dreams. I would wake up at 3 am and rush to my computer and type my dreams. My wife thought I was nuts. Soon, I realized I had enough material for the basis of a story, it was a medieval story different from any others with a host of characters. It is a Christianity story of good verses evil and the rising of many heroes with the aid of angels verses demon monsters and pagans forces. I never wrote before and so I prayed for God's help.

I hope you enjoy this inspiring story and always remember!

"Never limit God!"
