Jan Pospisil

Jan Pospisil is Research Director at the ASPR – Austrian Study Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution and an Associate Professor for Political Science at the University of Vienna. He is also a co-investigator at the Political Settlements Research Programme (PSRP), located at the University of Edinburgh, and involved in the development of the PA-X peace agreements database. Jan's research focuses on peace processes, political settlements, humanitarian negotiations, resilience, and South Sudanese and Sudanese politics. He particularly works on the consequences of complexity thinking on peacebuilding concepts and on global political unsettlement and ungovernance.
