Darrion Beckles

Twin authors Dupe and Lola Ajayi were born and raised in Brooklyn, New York to Nigerian parents. Their passion for reading, writing, and financial literacy began at a young age. Dupe works in healthcare and currently resides in Brooklyn; Lola resides in Washington, DC. Both sisters are New York University (grad) and George Washington University (undergrad) alums. Aside from writing, Dupe and Lola have a passion for food, exercise, and child education.

Darrion J. Beckles is a writer born and bred in Brooklyn, New York to Guyanese parents. His zeal for creating stories (characters, settings, plots) began as a child and continues to this day. Aside from creating literary worlds, he is a passionate game designer, DJ and vinyl spinner, and Wing Chun (Kung Fu) practitioner. He currently resides in Washington, DC.
