C.E. Love

C.E. Love is an author and illustrator with over 50 years of experience. His employment includes advertising agencies, newspapers, magazines, and freelance clients. Love also spent more than 20 years teaching at the Los Angeles County Office of Education with at-risk youth, and at private institutions from middle grades through junior college..

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and three Master’s Degrees in Education.. His writing training comprises more than 100 hours of seminars, webinars, and coaching events. C.E. Love coordinates a local online writers’ group in which he has participated for 15 years.

His love of writing and illustrating, combined with this undying affection for fantasy and adventure, led to this book of illustrated writing prompts. It is the first book of a new series, which will explore other genres and possibilities.

C.E. Love lives in the High Desert mountains of North Los Angeles County, California with his wife, author, and illustrator Patricia Curran Love and the ghosts of their longtime horses, Domino, Amos, and Angel. The spirits of their favorite dogs, Smiley, Little Guy, Baby, Panda, General, Casper, and Red Dog, who still cast occasional shadows.
