Joanne Vannicola

Joanne Vannicola is an Emmy award winning actor. She is also an advocate for LGBTQ+ people and is the chair of the first LGBTQ+ committee in the actors union in T.O. She has a recurring role in the original Netflix series, Slasher (2019), and will also be seen in the CBC reboot as a Sam in Street Legal (2019). Vannicola is the founder of Youth Out Loud, an organization that raises awareness about child sexual abuse and equity. She is working on her second book, and on film and television project. Her memoir, All We Knew But Couldn't Say, is her first book.
