Robert Ballatt

Robert B. Ballatt is a father, a husband, an author, an entrepreneur, a mentor, a humanitarian, a and undeniably, a leader. He has a genuine love for God and for people. Robert believes that his life’s purpose is to inspire and motivate people of all ages. Robert has diligently helped thousands of people identify and use their God-given gifts & talents to live purposeful lives through practical application of basic bible principles. Robert began his service in ministry in 1990 at Faith Fellowship Ministries in New Jersey, USA. Robert graduated from Faith Fellowship Ministries Advanced Christian Training & School of Ministry in 1994. In 1995, Robert served as assistant youth pastor and mentor to hundreds of young people. In 1995, Robert founded Teen-Aged America Inc., an outreach organization which introduced and taught the word of God to hundreds of teens and he was head of the dance and drama ministry. In 1997, Robert became a licensed and ordained minister at Seeds of Greatness in New Jersey, USA. In 1997, Robert founded Faith Movement Ministries where he served as pastor. After years of financial struggles and challenges, Robert decided to become an entrepreneur, so in 2002, he started a groundbreaking mobile spa service company. It was the first of its kind to be owned by an African-American male. For over 16 years, Just 1 Touch has served over 30,000 people, primarily in the health and beauty industry. As just 1 Touch grew, Robert became more and more determined to teach others what he had learned. Robert has and continues to motivate, inspire, teach and train men and women how to succeed in their personal lives, their relationships and in business. His clients include Cathy Hughes (founder of Radio One and TV One) and Marvet Britto ( CEO of the Britto Agency). Mr. Ballatt’s impressive clientele also includes the Entrepreneurs of Black Enterprise (Conference in Atlanta,GA), the Mocha Moms National Conference in Las Vegas, and the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) in Miami, Florida. Just 1 Touch remains the #1 African-American owned mobile spa company in the tri-state Area. Just 1 Touch provided a platform for Robert to mentor and motivate young people on the importance of education and following their dreams. Robert has had the opportunity to work with several youth programs such as: The United Way Young Leaders (New Jersey), W.A.N.T.E.D ( Long Island, New York), Someone’s Daughter ( Elizabeth, New Jersey) and various youth ministries and organizations in the tri-state area. Robert believes that serving in our communities is vital, so Robert has also dedicated his time to helping several non-profit organizations such as The Lupus Foundation, Sisters of Central Jersey and Susan G. Komen to raise awareness for various causes such as breast cancer, lupus, and autism.

Robert re- emerged in 2012 as an author, with his first book “#DateChat, The Dating Survival Guide”. In 2013, Mr. Ballatt wrote a hugely successful blog entitled “10 Tips on Dating a Strong Black Woman” which went “viral” and later became a print publication. Robert has had the opportunity to share his male perspective with audiences from New York City to Las Vegas.

In keeping with Robert’s commitment to seeing people live purposeful lives, in April of 2013, the annual “Mogul UP Women’s Empowerment Conference” was born. The conference was held at Liberty Science Center in New Jersey in 2013 and at Kean University in 2014 (sponsored by StateFarm). The Mogul Up Women’s Empowerment Conference made history for being the first women’s empowerment conference with all male speakers. Over 250 women were in attendance that day. Robert is confident that every woman in attendance left equipped with life skills for great success in relationships, finances and in business.

Robert and Jamillah are a very dynamic and passionate married couple who were drawn to each other by their strong love for God and people. They are determined to make an impact on this world for Christ, so shortly after getting married in 2015, they gave birth to the PowerCoupleMovement, a very unique and down-to-earth ministry. The PowerCoupleMovement is already breaking new ground by impacting people's lives daily via all social media. We want the world to know that God is real and godly success in every area your life is absolutely possible.
