Filipe Marques

Born on the 24th of September of 1991, in the city of Porto, Portugal. Filipe Marques is a Portuguese author who takes his first steps in the literary world with his first novel, published in 2019, entitled; "Nomad". Prior to this novel, a poetry collection was published in 2018; “The Yellow Door”.

His interest in writing began at an early age. When he was thirteen, he started establishing his collection of poems. His academic and professional route spans from his first studies in 3D Modelling and Animation at the London College of Communication, to his BA in Film and Television Production at the University of Westminster, to his most recent professional projects under a Marketing & Communication company in Matosinhos.

After embracing many artistic areas, professionally and as a student; including film, photography, video, 3D modelling and animation, as well as web design, writing was the next step, adding this latest interest to a catalogue of varied work in many different formats.
