Although spending her childhood in Croydon, Surrey, Joan Histon returned her roots in Northumberland but then slid south again, just a few miles, and now lives in the lovely market town of Pickering, in Yorkshire.
Having been a ghost writer for three of her books, her first novel, 'The Senator's Assignment', a historical thriller was released in October 2018. The sequel, 'The Senator's Darkest Days' was released two years later - unfortunately on the day of the first lockdown of Covid19 when all bookshops and speaking engagements were cancelled.
Joan was a professional counsellor, is still a Methodist local preacher and now takes speaking engagements around the north of England.
