Mina Petkova was born in Bulgaria, in what the Chinese proverb would call ‘interesting times.’ In the early 2000s she moved to London and spent the better part of the decade there, for a couple of years living and working in the area where her first story takes place. A psychologist by training and storyteller by nature, she has two publications in her home country on youth psychology but has never been more excited to see her name in print as she is with her first novel, ‘Portrait of a Stranger.’
