David McCormack

Following a career in nursing and social work, David graduated as a mature student with first-class honours in Contemporary Military and International History from the University of Salford in 2009. David works as a battlefield/historical guide with Leger Battlefield tours covering the Rise & Fall of the III Reich, the Holocaust, Bomber Command, and the Peninsular War. Up to date, David has written nine books, the latest of which is 'The Great Escapism: The Theatrical Performers of Stalag Luft III' published by Barnthorn Publishing Limited.
