Tammy Moore Harrison

Tammy Moore Harrison was born in Caraway, Arkansas to Orwell and Lorene Moore,the owners and operators of the All American Red Heads. The Moore's family business was women's basketball and that bussiness had a purpose, that purpose was to promote and encourage women's participation in sports

Tammy graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1983.She begain her career teaching at a high school in North Louisiana, along with coaching duties. Tammy accepted an opportunity to advance her career and relocated her family to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

In 1992, she earned her Master's in Education degree from Northeast Lousiana University.Tammy spent most of her life following the steops of her parents, devoting her time and love of sport to both boys and girls of all ages.

In 2011, the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame honored the All American Red Heads with the Trailblazers of the Game award. In 2012, as the first women's team inducted into the Naismith Memoral Basketball Hall of Fame. Several year later they were welcomed into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
