I received my Ph.D. in zoology from the University of Toronto. I have taught a wide range of classes in biology, but I usually describe myself as being in charge of creepy-crawlies. (It just answers so many questions for most people.) I also became interested in creative writing while pursuing my doctorate. I teach upper-division zoology and introductory biology classes full-time. I also volunteer as a dean at Noble International University.
My writing interests are a bit eclectic. I, therefore, have chosen to use pseudonyms to differentiate between my types of books. I now publish my non-fiction books and my books aimed at younger audiences under the name Ptera Hunter (= wing hunter). However, I have written these books so they can continue to provide information and value into college years.
