Renee Walker

Renee Walker was inspired to write and illustrate her first book during her husband's third deployment in the Air Force. When their young children struggled to communicate their feelings while their father was deployed overseas, she wrote a book to help them, and she later decided to publish the children's book to support other families struggling with separation. With her Bachelor's degree in elementary education and a Master's degree in Spanish, becoming an author was not in her plan, but the experience has been rewarding and fulfilling.
