Julie’s life has been a long trail of experiential learning in a myriad of settings with one common theme: the beauty of transformation even in the darkest of corners of the most trying of circumstances. Her career has taken her from engineering to social work to teaching to real estate investing and development, training, authoring & facilitating.
For over 30 years she has taken her love of the transformation journey from computer systems to human systems to real estate systems to business systems.
She is an award-winning entrepreneur and social worker. Along with owner and founder of Viva Partnership, LLC, Dr Julie Lopez, LLC, The Resilient Brain Project, founding board member for the non-profit entrepreneurial academy, Entrepreneurly, and advisory board member for Birdseed.
Over the years, Dr. Julie’s own trauma healing journey led her to be qualified by the courts and the media as a trauma expert. She has been cited as a trauma and addictions expert and has been featured on Associated Press, Fox News, Telemundo and a host of other print and broadcast publications. Additionally, she served as adjunct faculty for The Catholic University of America’s graduate social work program for nearly a decade.
She currently resides in the suburbs of the District of Columbia with her husband, four children, and two dogs; Santa and Bailey.
