Edward O Rigdon

I was born in Wyandot Michigan in 1958. My parents were Glenn and Ann Rigdon. My father, worked on the Rail Road and he constantly moved our family to several locations. My mother was an awesome cook and baker, who also took on odd jobs in her spare time. Most of my childhood was spent in the Owosso Michigan area. I attended multiple Schools and then multiple Colleges. I had dyslexia and it was much more difficult on my education moving constantly. This is why I'm so passionate about my children’s books.

My love for art steered me towards opening a sign business, “Rigdon Sign Company” in the late 80’s. From there I opened the “Creation Station”, a sign and graphic design business. In the 90’s I evolved into "E-Dragon Studio," a graphic design, illustration and publication business. Then in the year 2006 I changed the name to “i Flip Digital", a publication design and graphic designer business. Most if not all my business ventures included Prepress Publication, Graphic Design, and Creative Arts work. In between running the businesses I went to Collage for an Associates in Graphic Communications and was a 4.0 student and was awarded an Outstanding Leadership Achievement among other awards. I was also the campus editor of the Job Seeker and literary Arts flyer. I excepted an Honorary Doctoral in Art in 2008, and became an Ordained Minister 2009 and received a Doctoral of Motivation. In my spare time I took Creo, Dynamic Graphics, Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and other certifications.

Currently, I’m working as an Artisan/Author and CEO of “i Flip Digital” in Owosso Michigan. I also own Rigdon Rentals.

My passion is Children’s books. I started writing books for young boys who needed something more exciting then what I grew up with. I'm hoping one day my books would motivate someone to explore their own artistic and or literary abilities.
