Kelly James

Kelly James was born in Sioux City, Iowa in 1960 and moved to Arizona, and then to Arkansas. After completing a degree in psychology, she worked with the chronically mentally ill for three and a half years. She went on to complete two Master of Arts degrees and a Ph.D. James has worked with children and adult individuals who have experienced trauma for over 20 years. Her first book, Why Aren't You Over This By Now? was created out of the need to help clients understand the affect trauma has had on them. She has a couple of children's book being illustrated, and is working on a novel.
